This is for the adventurous globetrotters out there

How I Discovered My Passion for Travel

I consider myself a ‘roambassador’ (an ambassador for roaming the world!)

I’ve been traveling to off-the-beaten-path destinations since I was a child. At just 15 years old, I started working several part-time jobs at home in Melbourne, Australia. This included stacking supermarket shelves and doing the paper rounds so I could save money to go on my first overseas trip to Borneo.

And so began my yearly obsession with scraping together my savings to see as much as I can of our incredible world. In the early years I’d simply fly to whatever backpacking destination I could afford. Over time, I started ticking off countries on my bucket list. People told me I was wasting my money and being irresponsible. (Does anyone else feel like others just don’t get it?)

Then I started working as a content producer and storyteller, which has given me a dream opportunity to earn an income while exploring our beautiful planet. I’m now a freelancer and I have visited every continent except Antarctica, which I have no doubt that’ll happen someday soon!

My experiences have inspired me to start a travel blog so that I can share my tips with others who, like me, want to explore everything that our incredible world has to offer in this short lifetime.

What You’ll Find Here

You’ll find travel hacks, ideas for your next adventure, advice and inspiration. I’ll be sharing hidden gems about places that you never knew existed, which I discovered by accident. I’m also going to share money-saving tips so you can see and do as much as possible on your travels and avoid making the same mistakes!

I also want this to be a place where other ‘roambassadors’ can come together to share ideas, ask questions and learn from each other’s experiences … and hopefully save some money while doing so!

Happy travelling xx
